About Tristan Armstrong
Short Bio of Tristan M. Armstrong
While in High School, I took all the art classes available as well as all the mechanical drawing classes and one year of architectural drawing. I suppose Descriptive Geometry could also be added to my background of putting pen and ink to paper. Upon graduating, I went into the military where my only real accomplishment was to graduate number fourteen out of a class of fifty at a school for Non-Commissioned Officers.
Upon leaving the military with an Honorable Discharge, I turned to an un-successful marriage and college level chemistry and spent a number of years in industrial research. In was in this period that I borrowed back some of my portraits that I had done for others in oil and pencil and exhibited them at the White Bear Lake, MN Art Show one year. Following this, I remarried and picked up a diploma in Journalism and Short Story Writing through a couple of correspondence courses. And it was in this period that I became a co-author to two novellas titled: "Boudica's War" and "Carcassonne Under Siege."
I have now returned to art specializing in layered digital photography.
